Linocut printing workshop at Potteric Carr

We had a lovely day printing at Potteric Carr with a woodpecker making a guest appearance on the feeders outside. The workshop was only three hours long but despite this, everyone produced a fantastic print, which was impressive seeing as no-one had done any linocut printing since school!

Figurative prints

Orange Man

Woman on Beach is the partner of Man on Beach. I sold the man twice over an the exhibition, but without his other half!

More linocuts...

Wild Geese 150 x 100mm

Chickens!! 160 x 220mm

Exhibition....

I put some work up in the Sharrow Community Creatives exhibition that Lu Golob organised at the Old Junior School. It was a great event and I managed to sell six prints, so pretty happy about that!

Temporary Sculpture Trail

We sprayed a load of household items gold (great fun!) then got people to place them in the woods to create a temporary sculpture trail. This idea worked really well and got participants to engage with the space.

Living Letters

Some living letters for the Sheffield Wildlife Trust Living With Nature project. We made the letters with primary school students, then hung them in the trees (or made silly words with them) for an Easter Fun Day in Dyke Vale woods.

Magpie T-shirt

I've got quite a fun little project: to make a t-shirt from the magpies image for a Notts County fan...

They saw the image on the mantelpiece at the engagement party!

Linocut cards (all A6 size)....

This is a two colour reduction print for a christmas card a few years back. I still have a few of these to sell.

I sent this to friends who were recently engaged.

I've done a few magpie prints. It is a bit of an obsession.

This was my christmas card for friends and family three years ago.

The original card read 'Scabby Christmas' and was a homage to my lovely cat Scabby Donkey.

A vegetable card.

The first of many I think.

Urban fox linocut print 153 x 200mm

Three colour reduction lino cut print. This was one of the first prints from the NCFE course I did at Sheffield College. The colours are a bit wonky on this as I still don't have a scanner!
